Aurora – GPS Tracker with Temperature, Accelerometer

This module is intended to be used outdoor with clear view of the sky. It requires four satellites to be locked before GPS position is acquired.

Supports GNSS: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, Galileo and A-GNSS.

A built-in accelerometer is available in the module, it can be used to trigger a GPS reading on movements or vibrations.

Possible application areas include assets management, tracking and geofencing.

The module reports payload with latitude and longitude in GNGGA which can be used to convert to Decimal Degrees or Degrees Minutes Seconds (DMS).

Equiped with Optional Wireless Radio Technology

LoRaWAN

This device is equipped with LoRaWAN® IoT radio technology. LoRaWAN® is a Low Power, Wide Area (LPWA) networking protocol designed to wirelessly
connect battery operated devices to the internet in regional, national or global networks, and targets key Internet of Things (IoT) requirements such as bidirectional communication, end-to-end security, mobility and localization services.

Narrowband IoT (NBIoT)

This device is equipped with Narrowband IoT radio technology which uses the existing 4G cellular network. It is highly energy efficient, with a high
level of security and a good range. The device is field upgradable over-the-air (FOTA) via NB-IoT.

  • Supports GNSS: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, Galileo and A-GNSS.
  • Accelerometer
  • Ambient Temperature
  • Humidity
  • LoRaWAN or NB-IoT radio
